Coming through....

We woke up to rain and wind and thanked our lucky stars that our day in Sissinghurst had been so beautiful! Using our trusty GPS, we drove into Canterbury. Our destination was the Tourist Information Office. We were so concentrated on looking for street signs on the sides of old buildings that we missed the rather large sign, "Pedestrian Zone"! We started getting the funny feeling that there were no cars anywhere and that people were walking on the roads! It took a few blocks to realize what we'd somehow done and then to escape - including one that was so narrow, our little car could barely fit between the curbs....
